Lawrence Welk Show? It was one of my highlights each week watching it with my great-grandmother. Let's look at the Lennon Sisters and Norma Zimmer. Norma Zimmer was a talented soprano singer who found fame in the 1950s with various singing groups. She landed a job on The Lawrence Welk Show that would last for decades and made her a household name of the time. Norma, a farm girl who loved to sing, found incredible success in a harsh industry.
