Hi friends,
It’s Friday again, which means it’s time to catch up on everything we explored this week at Ancestral Findings. We took a thoughtful walk through American history by examining three pivotal U.S. Census years—1940, 1950, and a preview of what the 1960
Census will reveal when it’s finally released. Each one provided new clues to help us connect the dots in our family trees.
We also opened a new Postcard from the Past, and this week’s
selection was a charming one: A Day on the Sidewalks of Greenwich Village. This little card sparked a conversation about the sights, sounds, and spirit of a neighborhood that has always had a story to tell.
And, of course, we started with this week's free genealogy lookups to help you break down brick walls and advance your research.
