Hi friends,
I hope you’ve had a good week and perhaps have a chance to catch your breath this weekend. We’ve been a bit behind on the lookups, and I just wanted to let you know why. Some close friends came to visit—one from Puerto Rico, one from Peru, and one from India—and we had the best time. There were lots of great conversations, laughs, and stories shared about our different cultures.
We took a trip to the international market (Jungle Jim's), picked up some ingredients, and then cooked the most amazing meals—arroz con gandules, Peruvian lomo saltado, and a rich Indian curry that filled the house with wonderful smells. We even visited a couple of local museums in between meals. It’s been a full week, and they're heading back home tomorrow.
That said, we do still have this week’s new genealogy lookups posted for you, so don’t miss those! And just a quick heads-up—today is the
last day to sign up for the current book giveaway. If you haven’t entered yet, now’s the time.
Additionally, a few people have recently asked how they can support Ancestral Findings, and I genuinely appreciate it. You can subscribe on Patreon or listen to the podcast. The site also features some Google ads that provide additional support. Still, with the costs associated with maintaining a website, every little bit helps.
If you have any questions about genealogy, please don’t hesitate to reach out by clicking the “Contact” link on our website. I'd be happy to hear from you, and I'll do my best to respond soon.
Happy Searching!
