Hi Friends,
I hope you’ve had a good week and found a little time to work on your family history.
I wanted to give you a quick update on my mom, whom I mentioned last week. She is in the acute rehab hospital after her stroke, and she’s doing a lot better. She’s still getting some words confused, but she’s eating better now and has been able to identify people in the photo albums we made for her.
The next step is helping her continue to eat more, walk better, and care for herself as much as she’s able. We’re hoping she can regain enough strength and independence to get back on her own, if possible.
Thank you to everyone who contacted me privately and shared what you went through with your loved ones during
strokes, or even what you went through yourself. Those messages meant a lot. Thank you again, and thank you for all the prayers for my mom.
