Welcome to This Week's Photography Newsletter!
Â
I hope you all had a fantastic week and are ready for an exhilarating photography weekend. Let’s delve into the art of living with your
images. Revisiting your work can be a powerful tool for self-improvement, sparking new ideas and inspiring you to push your creative boundaries. I do this regularly, and it's incredible how much you can learn and grow by reflecting on your progress.
Â
Photography is an art filled with opinions, from composition
techniques to camera models. Everyone has their take on what works best. In this edition, we'll explore the beauty of these diverse perspectives and how they can inspire us to see the world through different lenses.
Â
Let's discuss how a camera is not just a gadget but a gateway to adventure. It's your best excuse to explore the world, step out of your comfort zone, and connect with the people and breathtaking landscapes around you. Every photo is a story, beginning with a step outside.
Â
On a personal note, I recently had the chance to travel back to West Virginia. It was a nostalgic trip filled with wildlife photography and
capturing beautiful raptors. It was so much fun to drive those old dirt roads, reminiscing about growing up in the area, even though no family members live there anymore. There's something incredibly special about reconnecting with your roots and seeing the familiar landscapes through the lens of a camera.
Â
As we move through June, let’s keep our cameras ready and eyes open to the vibrant scenes around us. Whether it's the soft glow of
morning light or the intricate shadows of everyday scenes, there's always something beautiful waiting to be captured.
Â
So, grab your camera, embrace the journey, and let's capture the world together!
Happy shooting,
Will
