Welcome to This Week's Photography Newsletter!
Â
It's been a journey these past few weeks, but I'm thankful for the progress. After a month of healing and recovery, I finally attended church last Sunday. Returning to the crow's nest brought me a sense of comfort that I missed. Each day feels
like a small victory, but progress can be unpredictable—sometimes, it feels like two steps back and one step forward.
Â
This has me thinking about a common struggle we all face, whether in life or photography: the fear of missing out or FOMO. It's easy to feel like you're falling behind when you're not able to be out there capturing the world. But overcoming that fear is all part of the journey. In today's edition, we'll explore ways to deal with FOMO in photography, dig into
copyright issues, and unpack the true meaning of originality. Plus, a little reminder to avoid extremes—whether it's in the art you create or the challenges you face.
Â
I'm excited to be working my way back into photography, and I can't wait to share more with you. In the meantime, thank you all for your continued prayers and support. They've been a constant source of strength through this challenging time.
