While there are a few different methods for numbering your genealogy, all of the numbering systems have one purpose… to help you keep things organized so you can easily find and identify individuals and their relationships to other
individuals on your family tree. Most numbering systems display in the order of the descendants of a given person, while the Ahnentafel system numbers people according to their ancestry to a certain individual.

This Week's Free Genealogy Lookups |
|
Ranging from genealogical sketches to passenger lists and a history of the
settlement of Texas, the eight books collected here are comprehensive in their coverage of early Texas. This book collection includes both family histories and local histories. Together, they give you the opportunity to learn not only about when and where your ancestors lived but how they lived as well. Approximately 106,000 individuals are referenced within this unique collection of immigration records, biographical sketches, census records, and family histories. This collection of books is especially useful because much of the information was collected from local
sources and covers the period of time before Georgia began keeping records of vital events (in 1919). Among the unique books included, you'll find a comprehensive account of Scotch-Irish immigration to South Carolina as well as a list of passengers who arrived in Charleston between 1820 and 1829. Among the resources is an index to all wills recorded in South Carolina before 1782.

Family Genealogy Slideshows
|
Slideshows have so many uses. Family historians love them because they're a great way to put your family’s history in motion. If you have a large collection of wedding photos or you'd like to document another important event, slideshows are the perfect way to share your collection of images with your family and friends.
Slideshows come with many
advantages over traditional photo albums or online galleries. Because you can watch them on your TV or computer, they're both more accessible and more entertaining than photo albums or online photo galleries. The ability to add frames, music and short video clips makes slideshows that much more interesting.
The slideshows that I produce include, but are not limited to:
Genealogy: Genealogy slideshows are a great way to preserve and share your family’s memories. Display them on your family’s website or play them at holidays and special events!
Family: Family slideshows can take many shapes and forms. Turn your wedding photos into an interactive gallery or create slideshows that document family events, special moments with your children and more.
